Drickx (Cei Konzi - Madrootz, Belgium)

Hendrickx Ntela, also known as Drickx, is a dancer and choreographer from Liège of Congolese origin. She is one of the first Belgian Krumpers to create performances in which Krump plays a predominant role. For example, she has worked with Brahim Rachiki and Grichka, a true pioneer of Krump in France, and was a finalist at the Krump World Championship in Germany in 2014 and 2022. She has participated in numerous Belgian and foreign cultural projects in the field of urban dance.
Thanks to these exchanges and connections, she has gained professional experience, including organizing battles in Liège and the Krump Date event in Brussels. Hendrickx Ntela presented her first creation, "To Be a Slave," featuring eight international Krumpers and three live musicians in 2017 at Zinnema and the Royal Flemish Theatre (KVS) during the Lezarts Urban Dance Festival. She is the founder of the Drickx Konzi collective, a member of One Nation, a versatile all-female group, and a member of Gully Fusion, an international female Krump group. In 2018, with her partner Pierre Anganda, she created the "Beyond" produced by Lezarts Urbains, which explores the boundary between reality and imagination by placing a character in two separate bodies. In 2019, she joined the Tremplin Danses Hip Hop group and became co-choreographer and performer of the piece "Au Fil du Temps" by the Corpeaurelles Company. That same year, she was a trainer for the Nuits de la Danse festival in Dakar and presented there the first stage of her creation "Blind".
In 2020, she formed a duo entitled "Fusion" with slam poet Joëlle Sambi, and their performance was presented, among others, at the Avignon Festival in 2021. That same year, she became an associate artist at the Théâtre National de Bruxelles and performed her piece "Blind" in February 2022. The piece has already been performed in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Cameroon. In 2023, Hendrickx performed in choreographer Alesandra Seutin's creation "Mimi's Shebeen." In recent years, Hendrickx has won numerous awards and has judged several international competitions in the Krump community.
Drickx will be our guest speaker during the intensive. We will talk with her about how to create, train, and execute concepts.
