Triple Spark - a Dancehall initiative
Triple Spark is a Dancehall dance initiative to support people's self-expression through freestyle on Dancehall music. To achieve this, Triple Spark will regularly organise a free event revolving around a Dancehall cypher. This event includes a freestyle initiation or workshop before the cypher and reserves time for the community to gather and connect afterwards.
Why the name Triple Spark? With this initiative, firstly, we want to focus on the essence of Dancehall - the spark that started it all. Secondly, we want to offer a space where people can learn about Dancehall freestyle - a spark to get them started on or help them along their journey. Finally, we want to offer a moment for the dancers to come together and connect, next to the dance - a spark for community building.
Our 2nd edition of the event takes place on Sunday, 8th of March from 15:00 till 18:00 at DAKH (Rue Brichaut 13, Brussels). The event is free and open to all.
