My favourite songs of 2025

My favourite songs of 2025

As 2025 is coming to an end, I dove into my music library and selected my favourite songs of the year. All songs that I discovered in 2025 were on the table. That means they might have been released in 2025 but also earlier.

Your Existence - Wonstein

I discovered this song through a series called Twenty-Five Twenty-One, one of my all-time favourite series, and I used it in my first dance music video of this year. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

That's all - Choi Yu Ree

Another series that I really enjoyed is Thirty-Nine. No, I don't have a specific interest in series that have just numbers as titles. This is just a pure coincidence... I think. πŸ˜† Also, for this song, I made a dance music video, my second one of the year. πŸ’”

Trophies - Masicka

Including a song by Masicka was bound to happen because he is one of my favourite Dancehall artists. Maybe even my most favourite one? πŸ‘€

ドラむフラワー (Dry flower) - Raon

Raon's first song entered my library in 2017, but it wasn't until 2020 that I consistently checked out her music. I now have 78 of her songs. Damn, that's a lot more than I thought! I was guessing around 50, honestly. Most of them are covers, but she also puts out original songs.

Nights Like - Jake Banfield

With its opening lines, "Night Like" immediately pulls me in, setting the tone for an evening in a little smoky bar. πŸ₯ƒ

Waka Go - Ijadu

With a run time of only 1 minute and 36 seconds, this song is just too short! The chorus is simply amazing. 🀩

It's You - HENRY

Goosebumps when HENRY sings "You, it's you. You, it's you." Like "Your Existence" and "That's all", this song is also from a series, "While You Were Sleeping", which I haven't watched yet. If it's as good as this song, then wauw!

See You Again - Jah Vinci

Jah Vinci is probably one of the most underrated Dancehall/Reggae artists in the Dancehall dance scene, I think. Some of his melodies really touch me in ways that other artists' don't.

This Town's Been To Good To Us - Dylan Scott

Never thought I would say this, but I do like me some good Country song.

Take Me Home - Freedom Collective

"Take me to a place where my heart don't feel no pain."

Below you can find all songs again. Which song is your favourite? What is a song that you discovered in 2025 that I should check out?
